I am a qualified legal practitioner with more than 15 years of active legal practice experience in Nigeria. I was called to bar in 2000 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a common law jurisdiction. I started my private legal practice in year 2000. The first four years of my legal practice was spent as a Pupil Attorney in Chambers. I was taught the requirements and the discipline required to be a successful legal practitioner. I was attached to four Senior Counsel in Chambers and I handled all aspects of preliminary interview of clients, legal research, case preparation for the Senior Counsel, filing of actions and other processes at the courts and liaison with Prosecutors and law enforcement agents. 
I learnt the rudiments, attributes, professionalism and the dedication required to be a competent trial Attorney. After two years of dedicated understudy and pupilage, I was certified fit and proper to handle cases on my own from inception to conclusion.
By the fourth year of my post call, my experience and practice had traversed virtually all the court levels in Nigeria and across diverse fields of legal practice, from litigation to mediation, arbitration, conciliation, torts, real estate, human rights, constitutional law and corporate legal practice. I have handled highly intricate and specialized commercial transactions involving high financial stakes. I have represented clients in various negotiation meetings in Nigeria. My areas of specialty include transactional, corporate finance, commercial, property, regulatory, policy, taxation, human resource and pensions.

A fair proportion of my time and practice is devoted to providing pro bono human rights, criminal law and humanitarian assistance to indigent clients. I have also assisted in providing a voice of reason to check governmental excesses, rights abuses, and gender and equality issues.

In the course of my practice, I have handled many interesting and landmark cases cutting across all areas of the law.
